DH 9A Model Aircraft Plan (RC1468)
The name of Martin Fardell is synonymous with WWI biplanes, and his design for the two seat D.H 'Nine-ack' must rank as one of his best.
Construction of this 84 inch (2134 mm) wingspan beauty is designed to be light, flexible and very practical. The prototype model was flown with two-stroke engines from .40-.60 and an 80 four-stroke. Martin is sure that a good .60 four-stroke would work equally well.
If you like biplanes with character, and WWI aircraft in particular, this famous British long service aeroplane is for you. Detailed drawings included.
