Here’s one for the scale enthusiast. This superb 1:18.2 scale Canberra (1) Mk.8 by Chris Golds, is for the intermediate-advanced builder, and employs two electric motors and Günther pusher props. Easy to hand-launch and a pleasure to fly!

Full Description
The model is of wood and blue foam construction. A laser-cut wood pack is available which contains most of the shaped parts needed such as fuselage formers and wing ribs. An Additional Wood Pack is also available that contains MOST of the sheet and strip wood needed, the blue foam is needed and is not included. The model was designed to be powered by twin Speed 400 electric motors.
The full size: The English Electric Canberra entered service in 1951 as Britain’s first jet bomber, with a performance that was not only vastly superior to its piston-engined predecessors but could fly at a height and speed that many contemporary fighters could not match. It went on to be produced in many different bomber, interdictor and reconnaissance variants for the RAF and export customers all over the world and remained in RAF service for 57 years. The B(I)8 operated in the interdictor role and could be armed with cannons, rockets, bombs or nuclear weapons.

Our Additional Wood Packs contain MOST of the necessary sheet and strip wood needed to complete a model being built from a Sarik Hobbies plan and using the associated Laser Cut Wood Pack, if available. We stock a wide range of balsa, ply and spruce in popular sheet and strip sizes but even so we cannot guarantee to be able to supply all the wood necessary to complete each model. So some additional purchases may be required from other modeling wood stockists if not available from Sarik Hobbies. Our Additional Wood Packs only contain balsa, ply and spruce wood in the stock sizes as used by our suppliers and do not include other materials that may be required to complete the model such as hardwoods, metals & GRP sheets. What’s in a Short Kit?
A short kit usually contains, where available, the plan, the laser/CNC cut wood pack, additional wood pack, canopy, cowl or any other available Glass Fibre or plastic moulded items.
