Focke-Wulf Fw190 A-4 (60.25″) – Additional Wood Pack

The fast, aggressive lines of the Focke Wulf Fw190A are beautifully captured in this Brian Taylor R/C model plan. The big two-sheet plan is for a very accurate 60.25-inch wingspan scale model featuring working flaps and a retractable undercarriage. The model is of conventional all-wood construction. A laser-cut wood-pack is available, which contains most of the shaped parts needed, such as fuselage formers and wing ribs. Also, an Additional Wood Pack is available which contains MOST of the additional sheet and strip wood, ply & hardwood to complete the model. A moulded plastic cockpit canopy and engine cowling are available for this model, as well as an aluminium propeller spinner. The model was designed to be powered by a .60 cu in the two-stroke engine but experienced modellers should be able to convert it to electric power (details not supplied, so please send us information if you make a successful EP version!) It is not suitable for beginners, either to plan building or model flying.

What’s in an Additional Wood Pack? – Our Additional Wood Packs contain MOST of the necessary sheet and strip wood needed to complete a model being built from a Sarik Hobbies plan and using the associated laser cut wood pack, if available. We stock a wide range of balsa, ply and spruce in popular sheet and strip sizes but even so we cannot guarantee to be able to supply all the wood necessary to complete each model. So some additional purchases may be required from other modelling wood stockists if not available from Sarik Hobbies. Our Additional Wood Packs only contain balsa, ply and spruce wood in the stock sizes as used by our suppliers and do not include other materials that may be required to complete the model such as hardwoods, metals and GRP sheet.
