Fokker Dr.1 Triplane Model Aircraft Plan (RC1213)

Full Description

Fokker Dr.1 Triplane Model Aircraft Plan (RC1213)

Without doubt the most impressive 'Class II' scale model, with its dowel structure to simulate the fuselage tubes, scale rib positions,  leading edge sheeting and overall appearance. Original flies at scale speed using a Merco 61. Cowling is a Woolworth's 8 inch (203mm) kettle with base removed. Easy transportable through its condensed span of 54 inch (1372 mm), this 1/5th scale model has operated off grass and runways, flown and won prizes in many contests and will be a long time favourite replica of the famous 'Red Barron' fighter of WWI 10cc motors. Two sheets.
