Le Camaret is a cutter used for catching lobsters and takes its name from a Brittany port where such boats were very common at one time. The Camaret fishing fleet consisted of numerous sailing ships which were forced to go far afield as lobsters became scare in the waters off Brittany. Fortunately an association dedicated to preserving marine heritage has manage to restore some of the vessels.
