The Broussard is a strong aircraft with excellent STOL (Short Take-Off and Landing) characteristics. As well as serving in the French Army, it was supplied to many former French colonies in Africa including the Congo, Morocco, Niger and the Ivory Coast, as well as Corsica and Israel, where the French had economic and military interests.
