Full Description

MM2079 UTE Plan & Woodpack

Pack includes:

MM2079 UTE Plan

MM2079 Hull Woodpack

This is a semi-scale model of a typical workboat and the model is 24.5 inches (62cm) long and 8 inches (20cm) beam. The model has been designed by Glynn Guest and was first featured in the 2013 February issue of Model Boats, pages 10 to 16.

A two sheet plan including the full-size frames, side skins etc., plus the basic deck layout and profiles is also available.

The model can be completed as a sports or utility boat if the model builder so desires. The plan includes some constructional advice, but the article covers in depth the building process. It is easy to build using only hand tools and balsa and Liteply wood.

Recommended for those with some previous experience of building models from plans.
