£16.50£81.50

Richard Harris’ superb Panther autogyro – a model many will have seen flying at Greenacres and the Winterton autogyro fly-ins. Those who have will appreciate what a striking machine this is and, once airborne, it’s easily within the flying abilities of an intermediate pilot.

Plan and laser-cut wood pack are of very good quality, however it was disappointing to find that there is no information on the plans regarding power requirements and no constructional details for both the rotor head and spindle bearing. Reference is given to a 2013 issue of the RCM&E magazine which presumably included an article on building and flying this machine. Unfortunately back issues for this magazine is no longer available!
Luckily I have found the same article in a ‘Workshop Special’ magazine from 2015.
