A bit about the PSSA group build and the text to link with images:

The superb line up of Hawker Hurricanes at the PSSA’s 2018 Mass Build Event – 21 models were on show at the Great Orme 9th September and they all flew – each built from the Sarik Hobbies short kit and plan.  For more information on this event take a look at the Power Scale Soaring Associations website: www.pssaonline.co.uk

All marks and variants of the Hurricane were on show at the PSSA’s Mass Build event in September 2018, from the silver prototype K5083 right up to the last Hurricane ever produced – seen here in the Gold and Blue Kings Cup air race scheme!

The Winners you can see with their Sarik Hobbies models at the PSSA Hurricane Mass Build Event.  From Left to Right – PSSA members Dirk Tinck (Most Innovative Build),  Bob Jennings (Best Finished Hurricane) and Chris Barlow (Best Flown Hurricane)  www.pssaonline.co.uk

See image of event winner Bob Jennings as he prepares to have his Sarik Hobbies Hurricane launched by Andy Meade.  53” span and 4lb AUW makes this a superb all round PSS model which as you can see here lends itself well to a wealth of scale detail should the modeller wish!

Andy Meade’s PSS Hawker Hurricane at rest between flights.  Built from the Sarik Hobbies short kit and modified with tropical air filter and 40mm cannons on the wing!  53” span and 4lb AUW give this 3 channel R/C sloper a superb performance.

Bob Jennings PSS Hawker Hurricane catches the sun over the Great Orme.  The Sarik short kit produces a PSS model with true scale outline and planform, which makes it a most convincing model in flight!
