SLINGSBY TYPE 12 GULL 1

A unique 1:5 scale model designed by Keith Humber of the first sailplane (BGA380), Geoffrey Stephenson’s ‘Blue Gull’, to cross the English channel in April 1939. The Kirby Gull featured a bird-like wing shape, and its construction is replicated here with this all sheet fuselage and open wing structure.
