Purchased the plan in 2018 as I love the early 60’s jets and started the build in 2020.
It’s a good design but I did modify it to accept a turbine, moved the landing gear to the scale position, added flaps and made the outboard wing sections removable for ease of transport.
It flew with a P60 but it was on the heavy side at 7kg take off weight. It still flew really well and I can imagine at the design weight of just over 3kg it would be a very docile flyer.
I have since fitted an X60 which has reduced the weight to closer to 6kgs.

Had the plan for a long time and finally started to build this model in 2020. I modified the design to accept a turbine, moved the gear to the scale location, added flaps and made the outboard wing sections removable to make transporting it easier.
It has flown twice on a P60 but it was a bit heavy with a 7kg takeoff weight. I have now fitted an X60 and the weight is closer to 6kg.

I started the build in 2020 and I am just getting close to finishing it.

It has flown twice on a P60 but with an AUW of 7kgs it was a little heavy. It has been retrofitted with a X60 and the weight is now closer to 6kgs. Looking forward to flying it again now.
