Full Description
The Slingsby Company was founded in Scarborough, North Yorkshire as Slingsby Sailplanes by Frederick Nicholas Slingsby, a furniture manufacturer, World War I aviator and gliding enthusiast. The Capstan was Slingsby’s last wood two-place design and reflected the British preference for side-by-side seating. It was planned as a replacement for the earlier T. 21B two-seat side-by-side training glider. Each CD features a multi selection of high-quality close-up detailed photographs to help you with your latest building project.
